Inbuilt Heat Pump Technology
D&D Evaporators are equipped with an inbuilt Heat Pump that eliminates the need for an external steam boiler. The Heat Pump efficiently preheats the effluent from ambient temperature to approximately 60°C using a reverse refrigeration cycle consisting of a Compressor, Condenser, Expansion Valve, and Evaporator.
Once the desired temperature is reached, the MVR Technology takes over. The Heat Pump then operates only intermittently to maintain the set process temperature.

Reactor Technology – The Next Evolution in Evaporation
Conventional evaporators are designed to operate only up to the saturation point. Beyond this point, salts begin to precipitate, causing severe choking, scaling, and clogging of heat exchanger surfaces. As a result, additional equipment such as ATFDs are often required to handle the final concentration stage.
D&D Reactor Technology changes this approach completely.
The specially designed reactor continuously agitates and suspends precipitating salts, allowing the effluent to be concentrated well beyond the saturation point. Salts are separated from the water content directly inside the reactor itself, eliminating the fear of heat exchanger fouling and blockage.
This unique design enables direct production of concentrated slurry and solid cake while maintaining efficient heat transfer throughout the process. The result is a simpler, more reliable, and significantly lower-cost ZLD solution.

MVR Technology (Mechanical Vapour Recompression)
MVR Technology recovers the latent heat contained in the generated water vapour and reuses it for further evaporation. Instead of rejecting this valuable energy to a cooling tower, the vapour is compressed to a slightly higher temperature and pressure and then returned to the evaporator as the primary heating source.
This continuous heat recovery cycle drastically reduces energy consumption and eliminates the dependence on conventional steam heating systems.
